Adrian's Tomcat 100"

MEV 4x4

The MEV 4x4 (named after the manufacturer Mills Extreme Vehicles Ltd, based in Ratcher Hill Quarry, Notts) has a purpose built tubular steel chassis and fibre glass body (both built by MEV Ltd), but uses many of the components including all the drive train from a single donor vehicle, a Classic Range Rover.

The specification says it can take a 3 speed auto or 5 speed manual gearbox, so the donor vehicle is probably meant to be a later 4 door Range Rover, or I could use the most of the bits form my older 2 door Range Rover and get a suitable gearbox. With all kit cars using parts from an old donor vehicle, it may be an idea to buy some new components instead of using the knackered, old ones.
